GERSHWIN’S RHAPSODY IN BLUE & JAZZY SHOSTAKOVICH

We open the season with Gershwin’s iconic Rhapsody in Blue, performed by legendary pianist, Jeffrey Biegel. Two jazzy pieces by Dmitri Shostakovich will also be shared, Tahiti Trot, and Suite for Variety Orchestra No. 1. The latter piece will be featuring MSO musicians "side-by-side" with our very own Marquette and Negaunee High School string students!
